Celebrate 21 Years with 21,000 cup cakes

Francor Bakery is baking 21 000 cup cakes to celebrate the 21st birthday of N1 City Mall!

The pretty and colourful cup cakes will be displayed at N1 City Mall, and visitors can give a small donation – in support of Robertson House – and receive a cup cake of their choice.

This is part of a Guiness World Record attempt for the most number of cup cakes baked in a single hour.

Francor Bakery is attempting to bake as many as 1300 in an hour!

Please go and support this excellent cause on Saturday, 29 October 2011, at N1 City Mall.

FUNDRAISER

The West Coast Women’s Parliament is once again hosting a fundraising event in aid of abused women and children, persons with disabilities and the underprivileged.

Robertson House is a beneficiary of this event.

The event will be hosted at the Barnyard Theatre Willowbridge and we would like to enquire whether you are interested to join us for an evening of entertainment.

A huge thank you to Shawn, Patrick and all the volunteers: the dance was a huge success, beyond all our expectations. Next time, we shall need a bigger venue!

An Update

The revamping of the kitchen and the new laundry room is finished. They look very nice and modern. A big thank you to the National Lotteries Board for the much-needed funding to enable us to complete this job.

Also, a big thank you to the Blaauwberg Cuca Shellhole (website) for the food donated by McCain. It is much appreciated.

And lastly, apologies that this blog has not been updated for so long: Unfortunately, your editor-in-chief has been bedridden for several weeks.
